Seeing Black & White Instead of Shades of Grey!

Picture 4 of 5

The concept of Good and Evil articulated in the three mainstream Abrahamic religions is remarkably different from the one promulgated in the hermetic traditions or the principle of the Yin and Yang which adopt the notion that Good and Evil may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent (shades of grey). Mainstream religious traditions and interpretations on the other hand favor the notion that evil is usually perceived as dualistic, the antagonistic opposite of good, in which good should prevail and evil should be defeated (Black & White).
